1919 Edwin Boese mechanical valentine, standing approximately 17 cm (6.7″) tall and 10 cm (4′) wide. This antique Valentine’s Day card has great colour and no tears; some creases are visible on the upper portion of the cello. There is a small pencil mark on the back of this antique greeting card. Please take a…
A truly fashionable Knight Rider belt buckle. Vintage, 1982, officially licensed by Universal, produced by Lee NYC. 2.5″ x 1.75″
Published by Kirkman Reproductions, this postcard booklet contains reprinted shots from the first ever Calgary Stampede in 1912. A fascinating piece of Alberta history for history buffs and fans of the Calgary Stampede itself. I am not sure when this booklet was published-my best guess is that it’s from the 1940s or 1950s. The postcards…

This old Valentine is from the George Vick & Sons Bakery, Orillia household. On the front, two hands are joined inside a heart with a banner along the underside reading “My Love”. The front panel is partially stitched, partially held in place by tied yarn. Inside, the message reads, Valentine Greetings Annie M. Dudenhoffer Annie…
Designed in England, printed in Prussia! Prussia ceased to exist on its own in 1871, so after that, this would have been printed in Germany. This card measures 9 cm x 7.5 cm (3.5″ x 3″) and has a little wear on the edges with some age-appropriate discolouration. The inside reads: “The Hand that made…
A booklet measuring 14.5 cm x 11 cm (5.7″ x 4.3″), still tied with its fancy little cord and tassel, and still covered in its 100+ year old glitter. That’s right, friends: antique glitter. Just like new glitter, it will get onto and into everything you own if you let it. Be careful with this…
A very cool piece, this brass sanctuary bell was made around the 1940s in England. Inscribed “Leo x Aquila Agnus x Pelicanus” depending on how you look at it. 3.5″ tall, 3″ across.
Vintage plastic Britains Ltd. Deetail cowboy on horse, from 1971, appears to have been designed by someone that didn’t know horse anatomy very well—the legs look weird. Maybe that’s just me. Anyway, they’re raring to go shoot at other cowboys, so take them home and add them to your collection. YEEHAW!
This 8×10 Bugs Bunny print is a still from the short Looney Tunes film ‘Box Office Bunny’ (1990 or 1991, depending on who you ask). Note the one audience member behind him that looks suspiciously like a sheep. There are flaws in this print-you’ll see them in the picture close-ups-and I am not brave enough…
Join in a celebration of the great movie queens with Marilyn Henry’s “Claudette Colbert Paper Dolls”. This book has not been cut or used since its 1993 publication date. There are some stains on the cover and wear associated with age, otherwise, this is a nice example of the artform. See pictures for full details.

French Féves are miniatures that are food safe and meant to go into a cake, like a king cake, for certain celebrations. They come in all sorts of themes and varieties—collecting them can quickly become ridiculous! We aren’t sure what this one is supposed to be. A monk?
This French feve also stands at approximately 1″ in height and is in a goldtone metal. He may be a piece from a nativity-themed feve. Feves are miniatures that are meant to be baked into a cake, like a king cake, for certain celebrations.

Age unknown, at least 30 years old, carved by hand and came from an auction in Ontario. Very likely that this wood bear toy was Canadian-made. A curious little thing.
