Why a newsletter?
Newsletters are more flexible than social media, mainly because I’m not at the mercy of an algorithm that changes with the tides. I don’t have to record videos or take a bunch of pictures if I don’t want to, and I can link to interesting stuff without having to make you jump through hoops.
Basically: I’m not limited in how I share cool things. Plus, I get to add little features that I can’t add in other places, like polls, and it’s easier for me to figure out what you like and what you don’t. I mean, you can just hit ‘reply’ and tell me directly—and your message won’t get eaten by Instagram or Facebook.
